Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of one Junior Research Fellow for the project
titled ‘Isolation and use of phytochemicals from Mucuna pruriens and Asparagus racemosus for production of
high-yielding monosex Nile tilapia – a mechanistic study’ funded by the Science and Engineering Research
Board (SERB), DST, Govt. of India under the guidance of Dr. Suman Bhusan Chakraborty (PI), Dept of
Zoology, CU.
Duration of the project: Three Years.
Essential Eligibility and qualification required for JRF: M.Sc. in any branch of life sciences with at least
60% marks.
Desirable qualification: NET (LS)
Fellowship: Rs. 32,500/- pm for the first 2 years and Rs. 36,400/- for the last year (with NET (LS)) and Rs.
15,600/- pm for the first 2 years and Rs. 18,200/- for the last year (without NET (LS))
