JRF For The SERB Funded Project In School Of Bio-Sciences And Tech 2 - 3 Years  

Description Title of the Project : Development of Escherichia coli based heavy metal biosorbents by expressing a metal binding motif and evaluating its potential against tannery effluents through numerical modeling and experimental approaches 

Qualification : M.Sc in Biotechnology/other streams of life sciences with CSIR/UGC-NET qualification or M. Tech in Biotechnology/other disciplines of life sciences with CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE qualification. 

Desirable (if any) : Experimental skills in Genetic engineering / Molecular biology / Protein science are preferred. Work experience with pMAL-p vector will be highly preferable. 

Stipend : Rs. 25000/- for first two years and Rs. 28000 for third year
