Minimum educational
Qualifications &
Experience
Masters or equivalent degree in any branch of life-sciences.
With valid CSIR-NET (Life Sciences) / GATE (Life Sciences)
/ CSIR-RF / DBT-JRF / any other equivalent scorecard.
Experience:
1. Agriculturally important insects, their rearing, dissections
and bioassays
2. Basic plant molecular biology and biochemistry
experimentation
3. Gene cloning, recombinant expression and agroinfiltration
4. Agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation
5. HPLC and LC-MS based analyses,
6. Statistical analyses like ANOVA, correlation, etc.
Preference Candidates with at least one peer reviewed international
publication will be preferred
Tenure of the appointment Initially for a period of six months extendable for further period
subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and
continuation of the project.
Consolidated emoluments Rs. 31000/- + 24% HRA per month
