GENERAL INFORMATION:  

(i) Reservations [SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/DAP/EWS] shall apply as per Government of India (GoI) norms.

(iv) Students who are in final year of their qualifying degree programme (likely to finish the programme by July 15, 2019) may also apply and secure provisional admission for the session commencing on July 24, 2019 (2019-20-I Semester).

(v) Financial support (Assistantship/Scholarship) may be provided to non-sponsored Ph.D., M.Tech., M.Des. and MS (By Research) students subject to their satisfying the eligibility creteria.

(vi) Those employed in an industry or a college/university/institute may apply for admission as a sponsored, external or part-time candidate. Further information on these categories of admissions is available at

(vii) Application Procedure:

• The online applications portal (for Indian Nationals only) will be available from 15/03/2019 (11:00 AM) up to 05/04/2019 (11:59 PM).
  
  
• Indian Nationals can apply only through online mode of application. Foreign Nationals can apply only through offline mode. The last date for receiving applications in the offline mode from Foreign Nationals is 05/04/2019.
  
  
• Offline Application Form (for Foreign Nationals only) (common form for Ph.D., M.Tech., M.Des. and MS (By Research)) can be downloaded from:

• Ph.D. applicants must arrange for two letters of reference. For this purpose, the names of the referees along with their e-mails addresses are to be provided by the candidates in the online applications portal. The referees will be contacted electronically through an auto generated mail to submit their recommendations online 
  
  
• The application fee is Rs. 400 for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 200 for SC/ST and all PwD candidates (including General and OBC). The application fee is waived for 'Foreign National' candidates.
  
  
• Separate application form is to be filled for each programme.
