A walk-in-interview is scheduled on 12th March, 2019 from 10:00 hrs. onwards at ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow for selection of Senior Research Fellow, Young Professional-I and Young Professional-II on contractual basis. Eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling all the requirements may appear for the interview with duly filled in application form giving full details of academic records and experience(s). Senior Research Fellow 02 

Rs. 25,000+ 20% HRA per month 35 years for male and 40 years for female (age relaxation will be applicable as per govt. rules) 

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Fisheries Science (4 years of bachelor degree and 2 years of Master degree). Or Master’s degree in Zoology/Life Sciences with specialization in Fish & Fisheries Science and having UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification. 

Desirable Qualification: Research work experience in cryopreservation/aquaculture/fish breeding techniques. For essential qualifications, pl. refer to ICAR office memorandum F. No. Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD dated 09.10.2015. 

Setting up of Marine Ornamental Fish Village at Ratnagiri: Way Forward to Promote Livelihood of Mangrove Dwellers and Biodiversity Conservation” 

Young Professional-II 01 

Rs. 25,000/- fixed Minimum 21 years Maximum 45 years (Relaxation as per rule) 

Essential Qualification: 
1. First class in M.F.Sc./M.Sc./Marine Biotechnology/Coastal Aquaculture/Ocean Science & Technology/Zoology with specialization in Fisheries or Aquaculture. 

2. One year research experience in ornamental fish hatchery operations. 

Desirable: Expertise in marine ornamental aquaculture with minimum one year working experience.

Young Professional-I 01 

Rs. 15,000/- per month fixed 21-45 years as per rules. 

Essential Qualification: 

1. Graduate from a recognized university, in any discipline and 
2. Diploma/Certificate course on computer applications for minimum of 06 months duration as evident from documents. 

Desirable Qualification: 

 Good typing speed skills. 
 One year working experience in computer application and data entry, as evident from documents. 

Knowledge of excel and powerpoint. Bioversity International funded project entitled “Quantifying Agrobiodiversity and Ecosystem Services in Godavari River Basin Landscape” 

Young Professional-II 01

Rs. 25,000/- per month fixed 21-45 years (age relaxation will be applicable as per govt. rules) 

Essential Qualification: 

1. Post Graduate in Fishery Science/Zoology/Life Science with specialization in Fisheries Science/Aquaculture with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA/CGPA. 

Desirable Qualification: Research experience in Fisheries will be preferred. Since this project requires exploratory surveys to be carried out in Telangana/Andhra Pradesh, the recruited person survey, should be prepared for exploration (sometimes remote locations).
