Aravind Medical Research Foundation (AMRF) was founded by Dr. G. Venkataswamy, the founder of Aravind Eye Care System. The main mission of the AMRF is to eliminate needless blindness by providing evidence through research and evolving methods to translate existing evidence and knowledge into effective action. AMRF is a multidisciplinary research community and a registered society, recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of India, which conducts basic research to gain insights about vision science and commitment to finding new ways to reduce the burden of blindness.

  • The essential qualification for the post is M.Sc/M.Tech in any branch of Life Sciences.
  • Candidates with good experience in Molecular Biology (Sequencing, Real-time PCR), Cell Biology and Computational Biology will be preferred.
  • Selected candidates will be paid fellowship as per existing norms of the funding agencies.
