Subject: Recruitment of Project Assistant for a DEST funded project
Online applications are invited for the appointment of ‘Project Assistant’ in the Department of Environment, Science & Technology sponsored research project entitled “Development of microbial consortium as bio-inoculants for drought and low temperature growing crops for organic farming in Himachal Pradesh” under the supervision of Dr. Ajar Nath Yadav, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Akal College of Agriculture, Eternal University Baru Sahib for a period of two years.
Essential Qualifications: Candidates having Master degree with first division in Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology or any other related field are eligible to apply.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in Microbiology (Bacteriology)/Microbial Biotechnology
Age: Candidate should not be more than 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
Stipend: Rs. 15,000/- per month (Consolidated)
The above position is completely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project.
The selected candidate will be eligible for admission to Ph.D. Biotechnology in the Eternal University as per the university rules and UGC guidelines.
