MDRF Invites applications for a position of Junior Research Fellow in a DST sponsored project

Title of the project: Development of health foods kit for elderly population with diabetes

Tenure of the project: 3 Years (2 years JRF and 1 year SRF).

Essential qualification: First class M.Sc in Biochemistry/Food Science and Nutrition/Food Technology and should have cleared any of the National eligibility tests such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE or national level exams conducted by central government department and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICMR, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

Based on the performance the JRF position will be upgraded to SRF after 2 years.

The selected candidate will be allowed to register for PhD in University of Madras.

Desirable: Experience with Food processing, New food product development, Food Quality Analysis and interest in pursuing Ph D.
