Calcutta, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata: 700019 for recruitment of One Junior Research
Fellow for a sanctioned research grant of Science & Technology and Biotechnology
Department, Govt. of West Bengal (Sanction No. ST/P/S&T/9G-7/2018, dated 5th February,
2019) project entitled “Understanding the cellular metabolic reprogramming of breast
tumor microenvironment during immune cell infiltration: A special focus on T-follicular
helper cells (Tfh) and effector T regulatory cells (eff-Tregs)” under Dr. Sougata Roy
Chowdhury, DST-INSPIRE Faculty, Department of Zoology, University of Calcutta.
Venue: Office of the Head of the Department, Department of Zoology, University of Calcutta,
Ballygunge Science College, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata-700019.
Eligibility: M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with First Class.
Preference will be given to
candidates who have NET/GATE qualifications and research experience.
Upper age limit is 28
years with 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/Female candidates.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having work experience on primary tissue culture, cell
sorting, flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques
Remuneration: Rs.18700/- consolidated per month (for 1st and 2nd year) and Rs.21000/-
consolidated per month (for 3rd year)
Tenure: 3 years (Renewal of contract will be subjected to Evaluation of Annual Performance)
