CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysuru a constituent national laboratory of
Council of Scientific & Industrial Research(CSIR), invites applications from eligible candidates for
recruitment of 1 (One) position of Junior Research Fellow, initially for a period of one year or till
the project is over on a temporary contractual basis in the project entitled “Technology for
lactucaxanthin preparation from agri produce and its supplemented food formulation to
study their retinal angiogenic regulation in hyperglycemic experimental model”(GAP-0540)
funded by SERB, New Delhi, tenable at the Department of Biochemistry, CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore,
Karnataka.
Essential Qualifications:
First class M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Nutritional Biochemistry
Molecular Nutrition and Food Science & Technology with NET/GATE qualification with good
academic records.
Desirable:
Experience in Molecular biology techniques and Animal cell culture based studies/Animal
experiments.
Emoluments:
Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) consolidated per month.
