Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals for one JRF position in a DBT, New Delhi sponsored Project entitled "Screening of Indian bamboo germplasms to identify elite genotypes having superior lignocellulosic composition, their ex situ conservation and characterization of the candidate genes” in the Laboratory of Dr. Malay Das, Department of Life Sciences, Presidency University, Kolkata. 

Project Title: "Screening of Indian bamboo germplasms to identify elite genotypes having superior lignocellulosic composition, their ex situ conservation and characterization of the candidate genes” 

Salary: Rs. 25000+30% HRA 

Essential Qualification: The candidate must have good academic record with at least first class Masters degree in any branch of Life Sciences from recognized University and must have qualified UGC/CSIR-NET with own fellowship or at least NET (LS). 

Desirable Qualification: Research interests/experience in molecular biology, biochemistry and basic knowledge in Plant Biology

No TA/DA will be given for appearing in the interview.
