PROCEDURE AND CRITERIA FOR THE DECLARATION OF RESULT
The Moderation and Steering Committees of TS-SET 2019 have carefully gone through the
procedure and criteria set by the UGC, New Delhi for the finalization of result as follows;
Procedure & Criteria for declaration of Result for Eligibility for Assistant
Professor:
It has been decided by the UGC that 6% of the appearing candidates should be declared
qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor.
The following methodology is prescribed for qualifying candidates for eligibility for
Assistant Professor:
1. In order to be considered for eligibility for Assistant Professor, the candidates must have
appeared in all the three papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in all the three
papers taken together for General Category candidates and at least 35% aggregate marks in
all the three papers taken together for all candidates belonging to reserved categories, viz.,
SC, ST, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D & BC-E and PWD.:
Minimum marks (%) to be obtained
Category Paper-I & Paper-II Aggregate
General 40%
BC/SC/ST/PWD 35%

2. State Reservation Policy has been implemented for the TS-SET-2019 examination as per
the guidelines of the UGC.
It may be noted that the above qualifying criteria is final and binding.
