Bose Institute Kolkata Apoptosis JRF Vacancy


Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites application from the Indian Citizens for one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow in the CSIR sponsored project entitled “Deciphering the involvement of programmed cell death in the pathogenic development of Ustilago maydis” under the guidance of Dr. Anupama Ghosh, Division of Plant Biology. The project is tenable upto 31.08.2022 and the position is co-terminus with the project. Details of qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows :

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. / M.Tech. degree in Life Sciences with NET* qualification. (Preferable: Candidates with B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics or Biotechnology).


• Fellowship : Rs. 31,000/- p.m. plus admissible HRA.

• Age : Below 28 years as on the day on which the application is made. (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rules) *As per CSIR Office Memorandum No. 6/Fellowship (ENH)/2K19/EMR-I dated 07.06.2019, NET means JRF-NET / LS/ GATE qualified candidates.
