A Walk-In-Interview is proposed to be conducted on 27.09.2019 at 9.00 AM – 10.00 A.M. to fill up the
following posts on Temporary basis under the NIIH. The verification will be only from 9.00 A.M. to
10.00 A.M. and the Interview/Examination will follow at 11.00 A.M. Candidates who fulfil the requisite
qualification and wish to appear for the Walk-in-Interview/examination can download the format given
in the website. Duly filled in application along with the excel sheet (both may be downloaded from the
website) should be emailed to estniih1310@gmail.com or before 25.09.2019. The candidate are also
required to bring their application along with original certificates and a copy of attested certificates on
the day of interview for verification.
A) Project title ‘ ‘ Study of Hemoglobinopathies and G6PD Deficiency among Tribals of Tamilnadu . ”
1) RESEARCH ASSISTANT (ONE)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
ESSENTIAL : Three years Bachelor Degree in Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biochemistry/
Biotechnology from a Recognized University with one year Diploma in
Medical Lab.Technology (DMLT) with three year experience OR
M.Sc. with
above subject.
DESIRABLE Laboratory experience in Hemoglobinopathies and Molecular Biology .
Knowledge of Computer applications and data management.
AGE : The upper age limit is 30 years as on 1st October , 2019.
B) Project title ‘Scientist Advance Research proposal on Centres for product development and rational
use of drugs‘
3) SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (ONE)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
ESSENTIAL : M.Sc. (Life Sciences/Applied Biology/Biotechnology) with two years research
Experience .
STIPEND : Rs.35000/-p.m. + HRA
AGE : The upper age limit is 35 years as on 1st September, 2019.
C) Under the project “ Assessment of Neonatal Screening Approaches for Sickle Cell Disease and the
Effect of Early Intervention in Management of the Disease in Tribal Populations. “
4) SCIENTIST ‘B’ (NON MEDICAL) (ONE POST)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
ESSENTIAL : 1
st Class in Master Degree in Life sciences /Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology
with two year experience in haematology/Immunohematology/ Hemoglobinopathies
OR
2nd
Class Master Degree with Ph.D. Degree in above subject from recognized
University.
DESIRABLE : Experience in Hematology/Pathology
AGE : The upper age limit is 35 years.
SALARY : Rs.48000/- + HRA Rs.6300/-
