Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Senior Research Fellow in a DBT funded research project entitled "Screening lead molecules identified by structure based rational drug design methods against cytochrome b5 reductase 3 and dopamine beta hydroxylase in SHR models for antihypertensive" in the laboratory of Dr. Surya Ramachandran at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Good academic record with first class Master's Degree in any branch of Life Science and two years experience in molecular biology and/or in vivo experiments.
AGE
Below 35 years as on September 25, 2019. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.
EMOLUMENTS
Rs. 28,000 + 20% HRA per month for M.Sc. Degree holders who have qualified at NET/GATE (with valid certificate). Candidates who do not have NET/GATE certification will be eligible for Rs. 14,000/- + 20% HRA per month.
DURATION
Till June 22, 2020 or till termination of the project whichever is earlier.
SELECTION PROCESS
Suitably qualified candidates may send applications in the prescribed format with a photograph, a copy of full resume indicating the percentage of Marks obtained and attested photocopies of credentials & experience to reach the undersigned on or before September 25, 2019. Envelopes must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project, advertisement number and job title. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.
