Educational qualification M.Sc. in Life Science from a reputed University/Institute with at least two years of hands-on research experience in the area of infectious diseases and/or molecular immunology. Candidates should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ as per DST OM dated 30.01.2019. 

Emoluments: 35,000/- per month plus 24% HRA (As per DST OM dated 30.01.2019) 

Job description and desired knowledge: My laboratory employs a multidisciplinary approach to address questions in the area of microbial interface biology and associated host immune response to the human pathogen Streptococcus pneumoniae. We are interested in host-pathogen interaction, infection and immunity, and vaccine development. We are particularly interested in the molecular biology of B cells and developing a molecular understanding of how glycoconjugate vaccines work. We combine immunological, molecular and proteomics approaches with in vitro and animal models for these studies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background and bench-level experience in molecular immunology and/or infectious diseases, and demonstrated expertise in working with animal models of human infectious diseases.
