The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for Walk-in-interview for engaging research personnel for the Project entitled “Management issues of Kaziranga Tiger Reserve” purely on contractual basis for a period of six months. The Essential Qualification (EQ) and Desirable Qualification (DQ) and other details of the positions are provided below. 

1 Engagement Positions 1. Project Fellow (Ecology) 
2. Project Fellow (Remote Sensing & GIS) 
3. Project Fellow (Human dimension) 2 Essential Qualification (EQ) 

1. Project Fellow (Ecology) EQ: Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Science/ Environmental Sciences or management/ Biodiversity conservation with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university. DQ: > 1 year experience of wildlife surveys, camera trapping, habitat assessment. 

4 Work description Position No. 1: Fieldwork at Kaziranga Tiger Reserve on the vegetation ecology and animal distribution.


General Conditions 
1. The candidate should report by 0930 hrs for scrutiny of documents on 22 October 2019, followed by an Interview on the same day at 1100 hrs. The Institute will NOT provide accommodation for candidates appearing for the interview. 
2. Candidates should bring the duly filled-in application with attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications along with certificate of extracurricular activities; date of birth, mark sheets of all examinations etc. All original documents/certificates must be produced at the time of registration for necessary verification. 
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
