Essential qualification:
1. Doctoral Degree in Bioinformatics/Molecular
|Biology/ Life Sciences
or
Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology with
specialization in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Life
sciences from a recognized University or equivalent
2. Three years' relevant experience in Research and
Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions
or Science and Technology Organizations and
Scientific activities and services.
Desirable Qualification:
1. Experience in large-scale SNP genotyping and re
sequencing data analyses, trait mapping, and
construction of de novo genome assemblies
L. Publications in high-impact journals
Project Scientist-I
Essential Qualification
(i) Master's degree in engineering or technology or
Doctoral degree in Life Science/ Plant Biotechnology/
Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics or any other related
ficld from a recognized university or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification
Knowledge of Statistical and Computational
Genomics/Bioinformatics, experience in analyzing
high throughput SNP genotyping data. NGS data, re
sequencing and transcriptomics data.
Upper age limit: 35 years
Age relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit to women (5 years), SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3
years). PwD (10 years) is applicable as per GO/ICAR rules.
