HLL's Corporate Research and Development Division (CDRC) is a centre of excellence with world class laboratories implementing R&D projects both in-house and as well as on collaborative mode with other premier academic and research institutions in the country and abroad including Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), Indian Council of Medical Research New Delhi (ICMR) , Central Drug Research Institute, etc. The projects cover a wide area of healthcare research such as development of novel techniques for drug delivery, blood filters, novel contraceptive and other healthcare devices.

For Permanent Post

Scale of Pay E1 - Rs.16400-40500 / E2 - Rs.Rs.20600-46500 / E3 - Rs.Rs.24900-50500

Annual CTC E1 - Rs.5.2 lakhs (approx.) / E2 - Rs.6.6 lakhs (approx.) / E3 - Rs.7.7 lakhs (approx.)

Job Responsibilities Ability to undertake independent research in development of biotech products, diagnostic devices. Through knowledge in molecular diagnostics techniques. Ability to conceive and develop novel ideas into biotech based medical devices. Shall have good understanding on statutory and regulatory requirements of medical product research.

Qualification

Essential Qualification Ph.D (Biotechnology)

Experience

Essential Experience

5 years post qualification research experience for Scientist E3.
2 years post qualification research experience for Scientist E2.

Candidates with less than 2 years post qualification experience will be considered for E1.

Experience to be supported with patents, publications in peer reviewed journals.

Desirable Experience

Experience in diagnostics product development.
