II.Scientific Assistant (Lab) - A: Existing Vacancy: 1 (One) [SC]
Qualification & Experience:
(1) I class M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry). (2) 3 yrs. experience in the job. (3) Knowledge in computer operation.
Job description: Blood compatibility testing of Biomaterials, cytocompatibility testing of vascular devices and research in these areas.
Scale of Pay: Rs.5500—175—9000.
III. Perfusionist - A: Existing/Expected vacancy: 3 (Three) [Unreserved – 2, OBC – 1]
Qualification & Experience:
(1) B.Sc. in Biological Science. (2) 1 yr. Certificate Course in Clinical Perfusion/Perfusion Technology or equivalent. (3) 3 years experience in the job with minimum 100 perfusions. Desirable: Knowledge in computer operation. OR (1) B.Sc. in Biological Science. (2) 2 yrs. Certificate/Diploma Course in Clinical Perfusion/Perfusion Technology or equivalent. (3) 2 years experience in the job with minimum 100 perfusions. Desirable: Knowledge in computer operation.
Scale of Pay: Rs.5000—150—8000.
VII.Technical Assistant (Instruments) - A: Existing Vacancy: 1 (One) [Unreserved]
Qualification & Experience:
(1) 1st class M.Sc in Lifesciences/Biochemistry /Biotechnology. (2) Knowledge in computer operation. Desirable: 1 yr. experience in the job.
Job Description: Management of Customer Service Cell – Interacting with customers, receiving test requests & samples; issue invoices, collect payments, interact with labs, handle customer complaints, issue test reports, collect feedback, etc., demanding better communication skills (both written & spoken English).
Scale of Pay: 5000—150—8000.
X. Medical Records Assistant - A: Existing vacancy: 3 (Three) [Unreserved – 2, ST – 1] Qualification & Experience: (1) B.Sc. (Biological Science) (2) DMRSc/BMRSc (1 yr. course) (3) 1 yr. experience in the job in a multi speciality hospital. (4) Knowledge in computer operation. (Note: If DMRSc/BMRSc of two years duration, I yr. experience is not essential.) Scale of Pay: Rs.4500—125—7000.
GENERAL: (A) Maximum age limit is 35 yrs. for posts upto (X) and 30 yrs. for post (XI) as on 30.11.2008. (Relaxable for reservation categories as per Govt. of India orders). (B) In addition to pay, allowances at Central Govt. rates as applicable from time to time will also be admissible.
Note: (i) A panel valid for 1 year will also be prepared for filling future vacancies belonging to the notified categories based on reservation roster. (ii) The Institute reserves the right for short listing the applications, depending upon the number of applications and therefore all qualified candidates may not be called for selection. (iii) In the absence of candidates meeting all the prescribed criteria for eligibility, the appointing authority may relax age, qualifications and/or experience. (iv) Apprenticeship/training will not be considered as experience. (v) Experience wherever prescribed means experience gained after acquiring the prescribed essential qualification. However age and experience may be relaxed in respect of internal candidates by the appointing authority. (vi) Any attempt to influence the selection committee of the Institute directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidate.
