The Need for Training course on Functional & Structural Genomics: An in silico Approach :
Genomics is the science of understanding structure, function, and evolution of genomes in all forms of life. It is an application of genomic data using biotechnologies, to solve challenging problems of biology and medicine. Structural genomics discusses structures of the protein products of genomes, by revealing similarities to proteins of known structure. Functional genomics approaches involving the use of large-scale and/or high-throughput methods to understand function and expressions of major bimolecular. Identification of genes causing disease conditions and complex traits, including responses to drugs and other xenobiotics comprise as the most significant area of functional genomics research..
The main objective of the workshop is to educate the participant on the fundamental of bioinformatics and its application in functional and structural genomics.
The conference deals with the basics of tools for functional and structural genomics: an in silico approach which will be held between 17 to 20 December.
The training will help enable the participants to
- Gain knowledge on importance of Functional & Structural Genomics.
- To absorb and training related with Genomics tools and softwares and its informations.
Topics to be covered:
Agro Informatics on Medical
· Gene Networks
· Computational Genomics
· Molecular phylogeny and evolution
· Genome Sequence Analysis
· Genome Vector Expressions
