Pay scale and allowance: Pre-revised pay scale Rs.10,000-375-15,200 plus allowances as admissible under the rules/orders of the Government of India.

Category/Minimum Essential Qualifications and Experience

1. SFP (Forest Protection) SC-01

(i) First class M.Sc. degree in Zoology with specialization in Entomology or
First Class M.Sc. in Forestry with specialization in Entomology/First
Class M.Sc. (Ag.) with specialization in Entomology.

(ii) Ph.D. in Entomology with specialization in Insect Taxonomy.

2. SBT (Botany) ST-01 UR-01

(i) First class M.Sc. degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Taxonomy
from a recognized University.

(ii) Ph.D. in Botany with specialization in Higher Plant Taxonomy

3. SFGTB (Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding) SC-01 ST- 01 UR-01

(i) First Class M.Sc. degree in Forestry with specialization in Forest Genetics/Tree
Breeding/Tree Propagation from a recognized University/ First Class M.Sc.
in Plant Genetics and Breeding.

(ii) Ph.D. degree in Forest Genetics/Plant Genetics.

9. SST (Seed Technology) SC-01

(i) First Class M.Sc. degree in Forestry/Botany with specialization in Seed Technology from a recognized University/First Class M.Sc. (Ag.) Seed Technology.

(ii) Ph.D. in Seed Technology/ Forestry/Botany with specialization in Seed Technology.

Application Fee:
Application fee of Rs.200/ -(Rupees two hundred only) through bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of the “Secretary, ICFRE” payable at Dehradun from any Nationalized bank.

Interested candidates should submit their application typed on A-4 size paper as per the prescribed proforma given at Annexure-A along with attested copies of mark sheets, certificates, degree, etc. to the Registrar, Recruitment Board, Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, P.O.
