MOES project “Study on the carbon capture and storage by mangroves of Indian Sundarbans” Tenure of the project is 3 years at present.

Qualification required

JRF PG in Marine Science/Environmental Science with sufficient knowledge in climate change. Candidates with relevant publications in climate related subjects will be preferred. Experience in working in Sundarbans mangrove will be an added advantage

RA PhD with minimum 4 years research experience in the field of climate change and carbon sequestration projects. Candidates should have sufficient experience in livelihood upgradation programmes in Sundarbans-as adaptation to climate change.

Fellowship: JRF Rs.12000/- + adm. allowance as per norms of funding agency and also as per norms of C.U. RA Rs. 20,000/- (Consolidated)
