Eligible and interested candidates are invited for the purely temporary positions of Project Assistant Level -III /Level II/ Level I  in the following Fields/Areas for the SIP/Network/sponsored projects tenable at NBRI:-

Area II Bryology

Project Assistant Level III

Essential Qualifications Ist  class M.Sc. in Botany/ Plant Science/ Life Science with two years research experience.

Desirable Knowledge of Bryophyte taxonomy, culture  studies and conservation.

Job requirement To undertake extensive plant collection trips in various localities of Meghalaya and Manipur for Biodiversity assessment to prepare the floristic account, culture and propagation of Bryophytes.

Area III Plant Microbe Interaction

Project Assistant Level I

Essential Qualifications Ist class B.Sc. with Botany as one of the main subject.

Desirable Working experience in  Microbiology.

STIPEND
For Project Assistant Level III: Rs.10000/-/Rs.12000/-p.m. (Consolidated)
For Project Assistant Level II: Rs. 8000/- p.m. (Consolidated) For Project Assistant Level I: Rs.7000/-/Rs.5000/-p.m. (Consolidated)
