About the workshop
This one week training program will focus on current topics in the below mentioned areas.
Resource persons in these fields will deliver lectures followed by demo and hands-on practice sessions where the participants will have an opportunity to interact with faculty and learn the techniques.
Topics:
·  Plant and animal Tissue culture and its applications
·  Techniques for genetic transformation of Plants
·  Transgenic technology to improve medicinal quality of herbs
·  Ethical issues involved in the use of GMOs
Who can apply? Teachers involved in Postgraduate teaching, Scientists, Ph.D scholars and Personnel from Biotech Industries working in areas of life sciences
interested in the above mentioned areas and want to apply these approaches
to their work.

Token Registration fee:
Rs. 500
The registration fees includes only Training manual, boarding and lodging for all the days of the Training. A participation certificate will be given to all the paarticipants.
How to apply:

Interested candidates should apply through post/e-mail along with their biodata to the course coordinator. The application format can be downloaded from the website. The number of participants is 15.
