A premier research organization conducting basic and applied research into various aspects of Tea and Technology invites applications for the post of Research Scientist (temporary) under the project entitled ‘Tea Bioinformatics’ for its main research centre at Tocklai Experimental Station, Jorhat, Assam.

Candidates having following qualifications may send their application addressed to the undersigned along with copies of testimonials and complete resume on or before 30 November 2009.

Short listed candidates will be called for interview at Tocklai, Jorhat.

Qualifications MSc (Bioinformatics) with work experience, preferably with Ph.D.

Person having M.Sc. (Biotechnology) with knowledge and experience in Computational Biology may also apply.

Pay : Rs 20,000 per month (consolidated).

Status : Temporary (tenable for five years).
