Eligible & interested candidates are invited for the purely temporary positions in the following areas of for the NMITLI/Network/ Sponsored projects tenable at NBRI:-

Area I: Molecular Biology

Project Assistant Level II
Essential Qualifications Ist class M.Sc.  in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry.
Desirable Experience in Plant tissue culture and techniques related to molecular Biology.
Project Assistant Level IV
Essential Qualifications PhD Botany/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Genetics.
Desirable Experience in SSR Genotyping, phenotyping, polymorphism analysis and other molecular biology techniques.
Area II: Algal Biofuel

Project Assistant Level  II
Essential Qualifications 1st class MSc Botany/Biotechnology/Plant Science/ Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry.
Project Assistant Level I
Essential Qualifications 1st class B.Sc in Botany/Biotechnology/ Chemistry.
Stipend
For Project Assistant Level IV Rs. 15000/- /Rs.16000.-p.m. (Consolidated)
For Project Assistant Level II Rs.10000/-/ Rs.12000/-p.m p.m.(Consolidated) For Project Assistant Level I Rs.7000/-/Rs.8000/-/ p.m. (Consolidated)
Date and Venue of Interview For Area I on 16th November 2009 and Area II on 17th November 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Conference Room,  Genetic Block, NBRI, Lucknow.



Mode of Selection: Through Interview. However, if large number of candidates turn up, a Screening test comprising of multiple choice objective questions may be held for shortlisting the candidates for interview.
