Objectives

The objective of the training is to empower the teachers, researchers and students for organizing biodiversity database, its management and interlinking on the web.

Course Contents of the Training Course

Database creation, management, storage and retrieval, Application of softwares in Database management with special reference on biodiversity, Biolological databases.

Methodology

Lectures, Demos, Hands on Session and Workshop.

Level of participants

Faculty, Research Scholars and students of Life Sciences.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of biodiversity and computer operation.

Number of participants

Number of participants will be restricted to 15.

Accommodation

Participants are requested to arrange their own accommodation.
