Junior Research Fellow  @ Rs 12,000 p.m. + HRA

DAEBRNS Research Project, entitled ‘Study of Telomerase as a Possible Chemopreventive Target for the Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs in Experimental Colon Cancer’. 

The duration of the  project is three years.

The applications on plain paper giving detailed bio-data along with attested copies of the testimonials should reach the undersigned by 24 March 2010, by 5:00 pm. The interview will be held on 25 March 2010 at 11:00 am in the office of the Chairman, Department of Biophysics.

No TA/DA will be permissible for attending the interview.

The rules and regulations as laid down by the Panjab University/DAE, Mumbai will govern the selected candidate. No separate interview letters will be sent.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have M.Sc. in Biophysics or any other stream of Life Sciences with at least 55% marks, overall good academic record and the candidate should have qualified CSIR/NET/P.U. Ph.D. entrance test or its equivalent test.

Desirable

The candidates having the research experience in the areas of Cell Culture, Electrophoresis, Western Blotting, RT-PCR, Fluorescence Spectroscopy and Microscopy, etc. will be preferred.
