DBT funded project entitled “Development of Multi-analyte Immunosensor for Pesticide Detection”.
The work principally involves fabrication of Immunoglobulins based biosensor using chemical/electrochemical/SPR methods, via, use of nano composites of conducting polymers, self assembled monolayers, thin films etc. The fabricated electrodes would be optimized, characterised & utilized for its response characteristics using cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, square wave voltammetry, surface plasmon resonance (SPR) etc for detection of pesticides for application towards environmental monitoring.
The position is temporary and available until 13th January 2013 (or till the end of the project).
Essential Qualifications: MSc/MTech in Biotech Or
M.Sc. Physics/ chemistry/ Biochemistry /Biophysics/Bioelectronics etc. with NET/GATE
Desirable: 1 year of working experience with biosensors.
Salary: As per DBT norms.
