DBT/CSIR-NET/ICMR-qualified candidates are invited to apply for PhD positions in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (PHB) or Bioinformatics (BIN) at Dr. Sujit Nair’s laboratory in the Amrita Centre for Nanosciences & Molecular Medicine, Amrita University, Cochin.
The position in PHB involves interaction with clinicians and basic biologists in the field of cancer pharmacogenomics and will seek to understand the molecular basis of cancer.
The position in BIN involves the development of computational approaches to predict gene interactions and analysis of gene/protein interaction networks in cancer.
Candidates applying for PHB should have a Master’s degree in biological sciences or pharmacy.
Candidates applying for BIN should have strong programming skills and a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics.

ReplyDeleteI am an M.Tech.Bioinformatics degree holder. Is it necessary for me having CSIR-NET/ICMR-jrf or such fellowships for the eligibility criteria for PhD admissions in Bioinformatics.
according the ad, they require only those have fellowship.
