Ministry of Earth Sciences funded Project on FARMING AND PEARL PRODUCTION IN THE BLACK PEARL OYSTER Pinctada margaritifera in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Place of duty : CMFRI-MoES Project site, Marine Hill, Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Essential : MSc/M.F.Sc. . in Marine Biology/Mariculture Fisheries/Zoology/Aquaculture/Life Sciences with 55% marks.
Desirable : Experience in reproductive biology of invertebrates/larval rearing/Mariculture/experience in sea trips and stay in Islands/seawater sample analysis. Evidence of published work/Experience in data processing using computers
Age limit : 35 years (age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST& 3 years for OBC)
Emoluments : Rs.12,000 + 15% HRA per month
General Instructions: Purely temporary and will be recruited on contract basis till March, 2012 or the end of the project whichever is earlier. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The candidates are requested to bring their originals alongwith a set of attested copies of their certificates.
