Project Fellow

Industry funded research project on "Computational Prediction of DNA Methylation Patterns in the Cancer Genome" in the laboratory of Integrated Cancer Research Program headed by Prof. M. Radhakrishna Pillai.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Project Fellow (Bioinformatics):

M.Sc. in Bioinformatics or Computational Biology with a minimum of 60% marks.

Desirable: Documented experience in genomics research with knowledge in sequence assembly and genome annotation. Experience in retrieving, manipulating and managing data from public databases such as NCBI and Ensembl. Proficiency in common bioinformatics programming languages such as Perl and/or JAVA.

EMOLUMENTS - Rs. 14,000/- + 20% HRA

Duration : One year or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).
