Applications are invited from NET qualified (including LS) candidates for JRF leading to Ph.D. to work in a DST funded project entitled, “Functional Characterization of Components of DNA Methylation Machinery in the moss Physcomitrella patens” sanctioned to Dr. Meenu Kapoor, Associate Professor in University School of Biotechnology.
The project is initially funded for 3 years but is subject to further extension depending on the progress of work.
Essential Qualification: Masters in Biological Sciences.
Desirable Qualification and Experience: Masters in Botany with experience and interest in Molecular Biology and Plant Tissue Culture
Salary: For NET LS qualified candidates: Rs.12000-Rs. 14000 plus HRA as applicable
For CSIR/UGC NET qualified candidates: Rs. 16000-Rs.18000 plus HRA as applicable
