Essential Qualifications: First class Master degree in Plant Sciences with specialization in any one of the disciplines (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Tissue Culture, Taxonomy, Forest Ecology).
Desirable: Conduct intensive research (Field and Lab). Assessment of genetic variability using molecular tools/monitoring of population dynamics of selected taxa and developing propagation protocols.
Experience of Molecular Biology, Tissue Culture and Biochemical analysis.
Nature of duties: DBT sponsored project entitled “Creating a Genomics platform for apple research in India”.
