Vacancy for Project Associate / Senior Project Assistant at Department of Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Project Associate / Senior Project Assistant for the following DBT funded project:

1. One Project Associate for DBT funded project titled “Setting up of Distributed Informaion Sub-centre”.

PI: Prof Sunil Nath

Minimum Qualification: B.Tech / M.Sc / M.Tech., in Biotechnology / Biochemical Engineering / Bio – Informatics Ist Class or equivalent.

Desirable: Experience in the flash programming, Development of Teaching modules in the area of Bioinformatics, Biotechnology & Biochemical Engineering with video, animations etc.

Project Duration: till 31st March 2011, likely to continue

Last date for application: 2^nd December 2010

Salary: Rs.20, 000 PM  Consolidated

2. One Sr. Project Assistant for DBT funded project titled “Setting up of Distributed Informaion sub-centre”.

PI: Prof Sunil Nath

Minimum Qualification: B.Tech / M.Sc or equivalent in Biotechnology /Chemical / Biochemical Engineering

Desirable: Experience in Programming in ‘C⁺⁺’ Pascal etc. Knowledge of Data Acquisition using Lab View, MATLAB software(s).

Project Duration: till 31st March 2011, likely to continue

Last date for application: 2^nd December 2010

Salary: Rs.16,000 PM Consolidated

Note - Candidate not found suitable for above post may be offered Project Assistant on a consolidated salary of Rs 13,500=00PM
