JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW/PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-II
DST Project Understanding mechanisms of enhanced immunity using nanotechnology based immune modulators
DURATION: Initially for a period of one year (likely to be extended further).
QUALIFICATION:
1. JRF:
Fellowship: -Rs.16, 000/- + HRA (as per DST norms) 55% in M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Bioinformatics or any branch of Biology with specialization in Bio-informatics and/or computer science.
Expertise and advanced knowledge in JAVA, C/C++ and PERL is required and candidates with mainframe system administration will be preferred. Candidates should have valid CSIR-UGC JRF/ GATE qualification.
2. Project Assistant level-II:
Stipend: - Rs.8, 000/-p.m. (Consolidated) B.Sc. with expertise in handling small animals ((mice and/or chicks). Preference for the position of project assistant will be given to candidates with experience in microbiology & tissue culture.
AGE: 28 years as on February 28, 2011. Age relaxation to entitled categories as per DST rules.
Last Date of Receipt of Application: February 28, 2011.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate if called for interview or joining the position.
