Age : Not below 18 years and not above 37 years of age as on 01.02.2011. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates, as per State Govt. Rules. For internal candidates, age will be relaxed by 5 years.
Application Procedure: Qualified candidates have to apply in the prescribed application form only, available in the website www.gauhati.ac.in. Applications submitted in any other format, or incomplete applications will be rejected. Application must be supported with attested copies of all certificates and testimonials in support of qualification, experience and age etc. A bank draft of Rs. 600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST candidates) as application fee drawn in favour of “Registrar, Gauhati University” and payable at ‘Guwahati’ must be enclosed with the application. Applications must be submitted to the Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-14 superscribed with name of the post applied on the envelope & the last date of submission is 15.03.2011.
