Intellectual property will be the currency of the future. Capitalizing on IP assets is a lucrative trend and people, corporates, investors and research organizations – all have come to realize the economic significance and deep impact of IP Assets on knowledge-centric economies.

In another such attempt, SkyQuest in association with Foundation for MSME Clusters (FMC) is organizing a series of Technology Roadshows – Tech Transfer 2011 across India as a part of a Project ‘Promoting Innovative Clusters’ (PIC) funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST- Reference No. 23/2/2007-NEB. dated 08/04/2009), Government of India.
These Technology Roadshows will offer a platform to technology seekers and providers, thereby addressing the need to connect the two. It will be an accessible marketplace featuring 50 patented technologies.
The event is meant to offer a plethora of opportunities for Industry Stakeholders. INNOVATORS, the possessors of these novel technologies, will get a unique opportunity for the first time ever to present their technologies directly to the potential buyers through this platform. Different modes of presentations will be used to highlight the significances of each technology. Similarly the ENTREPRENEURS, from the industry across India can discover novel potential technologies. Besides addressing the direct need of technologies it will foretell the business needs for tomorrow, give information on latest innovations in respective fields, meet the brilliant minds behind the research, help gain competitive edge over others and initiate the commercialization discussions.
The event will also host an interactive session with industry experts from Life Science sectors who will share their experience on successful turnarounds in their business by virtue of technology transfers/licensing. The participants will also get a chance to interact with each other, explore further avenues for business growth along with the chance to identify opportunities to capitalize on their IP assets. Technology Roadshow is a “not to be missed” event for all the technophiles in the industry.
