ADMISSION NOTIFICATION for M.Phil (Bioinformatics) 2011 -2012
Applications are invited for the M.Phil programme in Bioinformatics offered in the Department of Bioinformatics, Alagappa University, Karaikudi for the academic year 2011 - 2012.
APPLICATION COST and SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Selection is based on the marks secured in the Entrance Examination (100 multiple choice questions (MCQ) with 50% weightage) and marks in qualifying P.G Degree (with 50% weightage).
The Entrance exam will be conducted in the University Campus only.
The cost of application is Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST on submission of copy of Community certificate)
Application and Prospectus can be obtained from the undersigned on written requisition by mentioning the subject of M.Phil program along with a Demand Draft drawn in favour of "THE REGISTRAR, ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY" Payable at "KARAIKUDI". Application can also be downloaded from the website www.alagappauniversity.ac.in. Downloaded filled in application should be accompanied by a DD towards the application cost. Candidates appearing for the Final year/semester examination can also apply. However, selection will be based on cumulative marks in all semesters/years.
Last date for issue and receipt of filled in application in person/post - 27 .06.2011
