WALK- IN- INTERVIEW
Required Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology on contract basis upto the end of the 1st term of the academic year 2011-12 on a consolidated salary (With NET/SET-Rs. 27000/ - p.m., without NET SET Rs.21600/ - p.m.)
Candidates should attend the Walk in-interview on the date and time mentioned here below against the respective department, in the Meeting Room, Office of the ViceChancellor, Goa University, TaJeigao Plateau, Goa - 403 206 along with application addressed to the Registrar, Goa University, bio-data with certified copies of qualifications and certificates in original.
Minimum educational qualification shall be Good academic record with at least 55% of marks OR, an equivalent grade of 8 in the 7 point scale with letter grades 0, A, B, C, 0, E & F at the Master's degree in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the
UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.

Candidates belonging to SC/jST category, shall get a relaxation of 5% from 55% to 50%.
