Krishidhan Seeds Pvt Ltd Responsibilities: We have multiple positions available ranging from junior scientist to group leaders in addition we have a position to be filled immediately for Scientist- Plant Molecular Breeding. As a scientist in research team you will contribute to translating strategic visions into research programs with tactical and critical milestones. Depending on your expertise and personal preference, you may conduct pioneering research, coach research teams, establish competitive external networks and collaborations within the national and international research community, and/or take a lead in preparing new research opportunities and directions.
Profile:
Essential:
� You have a PhD degree in Genetic/ Plant breeding and interest in molecular breeding
� You have MSc degree in Genetics & Plant breeding and experience in relevant molecular breeding work
� You are an experienced specialist in plant physiology, plant biochemistry or genetics
� You can assimilate and translate scientific knowledge into novel applied research approaches
� You are pro-active, an effective communicator and work well as part of a team
� You have excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
Desirable:
� You have experience in plant molecular marker work, genetics and molecular biology or in plant breeding, plant tissue culture along with molecular biology
� You have a track record in using, developing and troubleshooting physiological and genotyping assays
� You are a skilled coordinator with considerable experience in project management
� You have ability and the energy to pursue and achieve solution to a problem
� You have access to a broad network in plant biology and have good networking skills Functional Area : Bio Tech, R&D, Scientist
