Job Responsibilities Molecular Cloning, Amplification and cloning of functional HIV‐1 genes, genetic engineering.
Preparation of pseudo typed of viruses, construction of chimeric viruses using site‐directed mutagenesis, virus neutralization assays using reporter cell lines, cell culture, correlating viral genetics with HIV‐1 entry and neutralization
Essential Qualifications First class MSc/MTech in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Zoology and in any other branches of Life Sciences.
Desired Qualification At least 2 years of experience on molecular biology techniques including but not limited to PCR amplification of viral (preferably HIV) genes, cloning, animal cell culture, DNA sequencing, RT‐PCR and qRT – PCR, virus infectivity assays
Prior experience with molecular cloning of HIV genes, virus neutralization, isolation of viral RNA and proviral DNA, gene amplification, expression and sequencing and interpretation, cell culture and familiar with working with viruses especially HIV.
Experience At least 2 years of proven research experiences on the area as described under “essential and desirable qualifications
