RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (RA)
The Department of Biotechnology. Ministry of Science and Technology. Government of India has approved the Research & Development Project entitled '"Bioremediation of Dyestuff effluent compounds in Sequence Bioreactor and Metagenomics Study of Rhizosphere".
The Research Project will be implemented by Prof. M. H. Fulekar, Principal Investigator (PI) for a period of three years at Department of Life Sciences, University of Mumbai
Applications are invited for the recruitment of the following man power
(i) Research Associate @ Rs. 22,000/- PM + 30% HRA
Eligibility: Post Graduate in Biological Sciences with 60% Marks and Doctorate Sciences/Biotechnology/Botany/Environmental Sciences. The preference will be given to the candidates Doctorate experience in Environmental Biotechnology and publications in the peer-reviewed journals in Life with Post
(ii) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) @ Rs. 12,000/-PM. + 30% HRA for the I" and 2'd year and 14,000 PM + 30% HRA for 3,d year.
Eligibility: Post Graduate in Biotechnology- Life Sciences Environmental Sciences with 60°0 Marks. The preference will be given to the candidates having the Research Experience in Environmental Biotechnology.The candidate belonging to Reserved Categories will be considered with 5% relaxation in the Post Graduate Degree as per Government Rules.
Age: The upper age limit for Research Associate is 35 years and for JRF -28 years. Relaxation upto 5years in case of applicants belong to Reserve Category, Physically Handicapped and Women candidates.

The selection of the candidates for these posts will be made initially for a period of one year and extendable for another two years based on the performance.
