Walk-in-Interview

Junior Research Fellow

Research Project titled “Reading pollution history, paleoclimate and sea level changes from the study of mudflats, central west coast of India” sponsored by Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, New Delhi.

Interested candidates may attend the interview along with application and attested  copies of all documents on 22nd August 2011 at 3.00 p.m. in the Department of Marine Science, Goa University. The candidates may contact Prof. G. N. Nayak, Department of Marine Sciences, Goa University for further details.

Eligibility: M. Sc. With 55% in Marine Sciences/Life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences.

NET/SET/GATE qualified candidates will be given preference. Candidates with experience  of participation in oceanographic cruises, handling analytical equipment, Sea water/ sediment analysis are preferred.

Fellowship is Rs. 12,000/- per month. Post is purely temporary up to 31.12.2011.

No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the walk-in-interview.
