Applications are invited on or before 19 Oct 2011, for the following post under a project entitled “Synthesis, Characterization and Bioconjugation of Nanoparticles and their Utilization as a Vehicle for Gene Transfer”, sanctioned by Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology (Under Nano Mission Programme of DST), New Delhi.

1) Research Associate- I (RA-I) (01): 22000/- per month + HRA @ 20%.

Eligibility: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Plant biotechnology/ Molecular biology/ Life science. Or M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Biochemistry /Life science, having 60% marks with 3-4 year research experience in nanobiotechnology, molecular biotechnology and genetic transformation, with publication in reputed journals.

Desirable: In addition to nanobiotechnology, the candidate having experience in genetic engineering, with publication in reputed journals will be preferred.

2) Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (02): Rs. 18000/- per month + HRA @ 20%.

Eligibility: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Plant biotechnology/ Life science, with at least 60% marks and NET/GATE qualified candidates with 2 years research experience.

Desirable: The research experience in the field of nanobiotechnology, genetic engineering with publications will be preferred.

post is purely on temporary basis for a period of 3 years or till completion of the project.
Note: No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for attending interview.
