Qualification

(1) Ph D/M Sc Bioinformatics or Ph D/M Sc in Ag/Biotech with Advanced Diploma in Bioinformatics. Experience in Bioinformatics related research work such as Sequence Analysis, Computational Biology, Gene and protein expression analysis, structure prediction and familiarity with various software and tools used in Bioinformatics.

(2) M Sc in Bioinformatics or M Sc in Agri/Biotech with Diploma in Bioinformatics or with good working knowledge of Bioinformatics. Desirable: Familiarity with wet lab research work in Biotechnology such as molecular markers, genetic transformation, familiarity with various software and tools used in Bioinformatics and Molecular marker interpretation software viz NTSYS

Senior Research Fellow

Qualification M Sc in Bioinformatics or M Sc in Agri/Biotech with Diploma in Bioinformatics or with good working knowledge of Bioinformatics. Desirable: Knowledge of database management system and  experience in creation of database

Qualification M Sc in Bioinformatics or M Sc in Agri/Biotech or Plant Sciences with Diploma in Bioinformatics or with good working knowledge of Bioinformatics. Familiarity with Bioinformatics software and tools.

Qualification M Sc/M Sc (Ag) in Biotechnology. Practical working knowledge of plant tissue culture of medicinal plants, hairy root induction, maintenance of agrobacterium rhizogenes strains. PCR confirmation of transformation.
