UGC-NRCBS XXI–Winter School on ‘Epigenetics I: DNA Methylation Analysis’
16–30 November 2011
UGC-NRCBS, Madurai Kamaraj University invites applications from research scholars, post-docs, young faculty members and scientists of Indian universities/research institutions for the Winter School on ‘Epigenetics I: DNA methylation analysis’ to be held from 16–30 November 2011.
This winter school is aimed to provide the participating young researchers an overall experience in the field of Epigenetics with focused hands-on training to study DNA methylation at the genome-wide scale, gene-specific methylation and to investigate methylation status of a gene and its expression.

Candidates should submit the filled application form to Dr G. Gopalan, Convener, UGC-NRCBS Winter School on ‘Epigenetics I: DNA Methylation Analysis’, School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai 625 021 on or before 30 October 2011.
Applications should be forwarded by their research supervisor/Head of the department or Head of the institution. Applications sent via e-mail will also be considered. The duly forwarded hard copy should reach within a week. The candidates will be selected based on their qualification and research interests.
TA/DA will be provided to the selected participants as per the MK University regulations.
