The following post is to be filled up for research project “Sugarcane Seed Production (B.H. 14001)” Under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna (RKVY) in the Regional Sugarcane Research Station, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari. Research Associate 2 (Two)

Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics (Related experience desirable)
M.Sc. (Agri) in Plant Breeding with two years experience
Age limit: As on 30/11/2011 upper age limit is 40 year
Note: If suitable candidate for Research Associate is not found then the particular post will be converted to SRF
Interview date: 23/11/2011 Reporting time: 10:00 A.M.
Place: Conference hall office of The Director of Research.
General conditions:
1. The nature of work includes sugarcane seed production its inspection/ monitoring, handling of tissue culture.
2. Knowledge of computer is must (Attach necessary certificate).
3. Driving license for two wheeler is required.
4. The appointment will be purely temporary and on Adhoc basis. Navsari Agricultural University is not bound to provide any employment after completion of research project.
5. The candidate studying in Ph.D(Plant Breeding) at Navsari who has completed his/her course work may also apply for the post. He/She has to produce certificate from his/her Major Advisor.
6. Candidate who join as RA with M.Sc. (Agri) will be eligible for getting Rs.18000/- p.m. after completion of Ph.D. degree (After producing his/her notification).
7. Selected candidate in this project if not performed satisfied work or for misconduct,he/she will be terminated before the completion of the project without
any intimation.
Candidates may submit their application on plain paper alongwith complete bio-data(As per Performa),one passport size photograph and certified copies of educational qualification, work experience and age proof at the time of interview.
The candidate will have to attend interview at his/her own cost.
He/she has to produce original certificates at the time of interview for verification.
