Walk in interview for the different posts of DBT funded projects on
(1) Cancer Biology
(2) Methanogenomics and
(3) Up gradation of Departmental
Teaching, Training and Research at the Department of Biotechnology, Assam University (www.assamuniversity.nic.in)
A walk-in-interview has been arranged on 15th December, 2011 (at Assam University) for the under mentioned posts on funded by DBT:
(1) Cancer Biology (with Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research centre)
(2) Methanogenomics (Twining in collaboration with JNU, New Delhi) and
(3) Up gradation of Departmental Teaching, Training and Research sponsored by
Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi, to be run under the Dept. of Biotechnology, Assam University, Silchar (AUS) under Prof. S K Ghosh, as principal investigator. The positions are purely temporary and will be governed by the Administrative rules/service conditions of the University/DBT.
Bring all original certificates, mark-sheets and BIODATA in the Dept. of Biotechnology, Assam University, Silchar from 12 Noon onwards at the Date of Interview. Candidates are requested to send their BIODATA to the following E-mail ID: drsankarghosh@gmail.com
Project Fellow-1 (One) (Cancer Biology)
MSc in Biotechnology/Life Science (Zoology/Biochemistry) with good academic record and laboratory skills on Molecular biology/Bioinformatics/ working with cancer will be given advantage
Rs. 10,000/-Fixed (Initially for two years) Rs. 5000/ -Fixed
Relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/Minorities/Women Candidates as per Govt. rules
Note: (i) No TA/DA will be paid for their appearing in the interview
